The very first time I came with this idea (of creating a CSS framework) was when I wanted to document my whole process of building a website from scratch. It was around March/April 2021. Mid-way of documenting of what was going to be a series of blog posts, I realized that -- Wait! I think I can make a small CSS library out of this...or maybe a framework. ...And that's how the journey began.
The process of building websites (if you have built many) is pretty much the same always, especially when you create them from scratch with just plain HTML and CSS. As for me it has been coming up with the general layout, pick a good font to use, come up with website colors, do some css resets, etc. Every time I have to start from scratch and think about all those things. What if I create a system that will make it easy for me to build websites? ...A small system or a framework of some sort or whatever you wanna call it.
That was how Amigo CSS was born. And at its core is the philosophy behind it. So please read the philosophy section to understand where Amigo CSS sits among the sea of so many CSS frameworks.
